Matan

Matan is a Jewish non-profit organization specializing in Jewish disability inclusion, with a team of professionals and educators seeking to provide access to a meaningful Jewish life for all, with or without disabilities. Together, we sought to communicate Matan’s message in a way that would resonate with each of their audience sectors by defining the brand, unifying their voice, and crafting an elevated visual identity.

The Challenge: Develop a modern and accessible brand and visual identity that positions Matan as a trusted partner and resource, empowering Jewish community leaders towards real inclusive action.

SOLUTION

Matan’s new visual identity is grounded in the core characteristics of their brand; Matan is warm, adaptable, and experienced. That’s how it should feel. We reimagined their identity to communicate the vision of true belonging, placing community and accessibility at the forefront, while allowing them to show up as a leader in the movement toward greater disability inclusion.

We crafted a comprehensive identity system, website, brand guidelines and more that captures the essence of life without limits.

Inclusive Sans is specially designed for easy readability.

PRODUCTION

We designed and developed Matan’s website to embody its fresh identity while ensuring comprehensive accessibility for users of all abilities. This included adopting a high-contrast color scheme for better visibility, using clear typography tested for legibility and maintaining a responsive layout adaptable to varied devices and user needs. By building these features into the core design, we aligned the site with Matan’s inclusive mission and ensured that everyone could fully engage with its content and services.

“I’m really hoping that Matan doesn’t even have to exist eventually because everyone is just doing inclusion right”.
