Art House

Art House is an artist residency program based in San Clemente, California that has become a physical sanctuary, a thriving community, and a symbol of creative possibility in offering resources, mentorship, and a platform for marginalized artists to showcase their talents. Each year, 16 artists from all corners of the globe come together to go through a transformative experience and bring with them a kaleidoscope of perspectives, cultures, and artistic styles.

CHALLENGE

How do we communicate Art House’s unique value and powerful story to embody their role as a champion of the arts in society, while connecting with and encouraging support from donors?

INSIGHT

There is an existing gap between the arts and the culture they exist in. Society largely prioritizes more academic and measurable forms of enrichment over creative endeavors, perpetuating the siloed notion that creativity is reserved for those deemed “artists” and does not have as significant of a contribution to overall cultural advancement.

By cultivating an immersive, transformative, and holistic creative experience, Art House is continuously striving to help positively transform culture and society through art. Their mission is to foster a transformational space that supports and challenges artists to grow, and provides opportunities to belong and contribute to the greater community.
